Hospitals can be scary. Especially if you are unfamiliar with their reliability. Well, here is your answer. Newsweek has released its “Annual List of the World’s Best Hospitals – USA” for 2022. However, this isn’t the first time a website has claimed New Jersey has some of the best hospitals.
Newark University Hospital (University Hospital)
There were 414 ranked hospitals in the United States and New Jersey had seven in the ranking.
The ranking was decided by three factors. Peer recommendation Was 50% of the final grade. While patient experience accounted for 15%. In addition, medical KPIs (KPI is a well-defined performance measure that is used to observe, analyze, optimize and transform a healthcare process to increase patient and healthcare provider satisfaction) counted for 30%.
More than 80,000 medical experts participated in the ranking. They were asked to recommend the hospitals they thought were the best. The key here was that they weren’t allowed to choose their employer.
