Omnia and Hakkasan nightclubs expand to reintroduce the industry’s weekly night – EDM.com
After an extended shutdown due to the pandemic, two of Las Vegas’ most popular nightlife spots resumed operations in March.
MGM Grand Hotel’s Hakkasan Nightclub and Caesar’s Palace Omnia both opened on weekends in a lounge-style format to accommodate social distancing.
Hakkasan Group, the parent company of the two sites, announced the expansion of operations for an additional day of the week at the two sites, allowing the reintroduction of an evening dedicated to the industry. Omnia will host their weekly edition on Tuesday and Hakkasan nightclub will host on Thursdays.
Last month, nightlife giant Tao Group acquired Hakkasan Group, paving the way for a merged entity with combined control of 61 venues and restaurants in 22 markets around the world. Their combined synergies hold the promise of further solidifying Las Vegas’ profile as the entertainment capital.
