“Through the COVID madness, the desire to be home with my friends and family has grown more and more over the past couple of years. It reminded me of a project I worked on with Boot Barn in 2018 for one of their commercials, ”said Mary Sarah. “While working on the song, I couldn’t help but get this feeling of wanting to come home, and what better time to do so than the holidays! This thought started the journey of making my own Christmas version of the already classic “country roads”. Hope this version brings joy and love, and hope everyone can be with their loved ones this year!

Country Rebel Media & Lifestyle features four special Mary Sarah performance videos. The first video features his song “Boys In Bars” and will be followed by “Without You”, “Chain Smokin ‘” and “Stubborn”. “I co-wrote ‘Boys in Bars’ with amazing friends, Grammy Award-winning songwriter Aaron Raitiere and Bart Butler,” said Mary Sarah. “I remember going into the writing session that day and I never thought we would write the most vulnerable song I have yet. ‘Boys in Bars’ is a period of my life that I’m not proud of, but not ashamed of either. As humans we aspire to be loved, to find love, and we can desire it so much that we look in the wrong places . Hope this song touches other people who may have had similar experiences and gives them comfort in knowing that they are not alone. Thank you so much to Country Rebel for being so kind and sharing my song with the world! I love my Country Rebel family! “
