Country music and rodeos are iconic Western pastimes, both of which will be in abundance in Casper next month.

Lucas Hoge joins the previously announced Chancey Williams and offers a free live concert during CNFR Week at Casper. The annual rodeo event draws competitors and spectators to Casper from across the country.

Moorcroft’s Williams and his band will perform in a free concert at David Street Station on Thursday, June 17 at 7 p.m. ET. Williams fiddler Brooke Radka graduated from Kerri Walsh High School. Williams is a saddlebron rider and has competed in the National High School Rodeo Finals, CNFR and Cheyenne Frontier Days. He and the late Chris LeDoux of Casey were the only performers to join the rodeo and perform on the Cheyenne Frontier Days stage.

Hooge, who shared the stage with Rascal Flatts, Luke Bryan and Martina McBride, will hold a free post-rodeo concert at the Ford Wyoming Center on Friday, June 18. Hooge’s album “Dirty South” ranked number one on the billboard. The sales chart for country albums and her latest single is “Get Lost”.

“Rodeo and country music are synonymous and we’re thrilled to have two musical performances during CNFR,” said Brooke Kaufmann, CEO of Visit Casper. “It’s good to welcome Casper to the annual event. With Chansey Williams and Lucas Hog, this year will be the best ever. “
