Country star Kelsea Ballerini changes the lyrics to a pair of her songs to reflect her messy divorce from husband Morgan Evans

Country star Kelsea Ballerini changed some of her song lyrics to reflect her messy divorce from Morgan Evans as she headed out on her Heartfirst tour.

The 29-year-old country-pop singer has changed lines in the songs What I Have and Get Over Yourself to reflect her new single life, according to Just Jared.

In the first song, the line “I have a hot body in bed” was changed to “I have my own body in bed”.

A line in the latter song was changed from “I’m the crazy ex who destroyed your life” to “I’m the crazy b**** who destroyed your life”.

She showed off the changes to her songs during a performance at New York’s Radio City Music Hall over the weekend.

The stop is the first she has made during her Heartfirst tour.

The Heartfirst Tour is a short 10-stop tour that will see the Roses star criss-cross the United States.

She will play shows in Denver; Washington D.C.; and Los Angeles, among other cities, before finishing in Mashantucket, Connecticut on October 14.

August 26, Kelsea filed for divorce of fellow crooner Morgan Evans after more than four years of marriage.

“My friends, I have always done my best to share my life with you in a real and vulnerable way, while protecting layers of my personal life as they unfold,” Ballerini wrote on the 29th. august.

“This is now a public record, so I wanted you to hear directly from me that I am going through the process of a divorce. This deeply difficult decision is the result of a journey of love, growth and effort that ultimately led to ended.

Ballerini wrote on August 29:

Speaking out: The 37-year-old Australian continued with his own statement: 'I am very sad to confirm that after almost five years of marriage, Kelsea and I are separating.  I would have liked it to be otherwise but unfortunately it is not the case'

“It’s hard to find the words here…but I’m extremely grateful for the years of marriage to Morgan and hopeful for the coming seasons. With very busy schedules ahead, please keep in mind that we are all both fragile, which we are actively healing and doing our best.

The 37-year-old Australian continued with his own statement: “I am very sad to confirm that after almost five years of marriage, Kelsea and I are separating. I wish it were otherwise, but unfortunately it is not.

The estranged couple – who was the last illustrated June 12 – originally met in 2016 when co-hosting the CMC Awards in Australia.
