Country music star Craig Morgan will visit the flagship Half Price Books store in Dallas on Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m. to sign copies of his new book, God, Family, Country: A Memoir.
Morgan, an Army veteran, co-wrote the book with Jim DeFelice, who also co-wrote the bestseller American sniper with the late US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.
The Tennessee native has been making music for over two decades, racking up numerous Billboard– hits, including “That’s What I Like On Sunday” and “Redneck Yacht Club”.
Morgan’s memoir, which is due out September 27, will detail his rise in the music business as well as his military career.
Morgan served nearly 10 years on active duty in the U.S. Army with the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions and another 6½ years in the U.S. Army Reserve. He served in South Korea before fighting in Panama in 1989 as part of Operation Just Cause, which led to the capture of Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega.
Morgan returned to Panama to participate in the CBS reality show beyond the edgereleased this year.
