Apple Farm Service combine clinics – Ohio Ag Net

Do you own a Case IH or New Holland combine? Or are you running a MacDon Draper head? Apple Farm Service is excited to hold its annual combine clinics between the dates of September 7th and 14th. Combine Clinics provide an interactive experience to prepare you and your machine for this fall’s harvest.

“We are excited and excited to invite area farmers and provide this educational opportunity,” said Kent Holmes, marketing director of Apple Farm Service. “If you operate a Red or Yellow Combine, this free event should be a huge plus for you.”

The maintenance of knowledge is the main objective of these clinics. The regional service and field specialist will provide talks, presentations and tours of the equipment to prepare the operator and machine for the best harvesting capabilities.

“We encourage anyone who operates or maintains combines to attend,” said Cole Sanford, harvesting specialist at New Holland. “Our goal is to make sure all the details of pre-harvest maintenance are covered and that you know the best ways to get the best yield with less downtime this fall.”

Specifically, Apple Farm Service will cover some of these topics: important updates for your current combine, new useful parts kits, resetting and calibrating your monitor for harvesting, recommended repairs and wear parts to inspect before the harvesting, tips for optimal harvesting, and Q&A sessions for in-depth questions about your combine.

Along with the combine clinics, Apple Farm Service will be hosting additional clinics for MacDon Draper Heads. Since MacDon Heads fit most brands, anyone with a MacDon Head will benefit greatly from MacDon Header clinics, even if they use a green, gray or other color machine. Participants can register for multiple clinics if they wish. All clinics are free and include a catered lunch with refreshments.

“We invite anyone who owns a Case IH or New Holland combine, whether they bought it from another dealer, from their neighbor or at an auction,” Holmes said. “We believe it is our duty to give you the best tools and advice to make your harvest as efficient and safe as possible.”

Below is a full list of clinic dates and times. If you would like to attend one of these free educational clinics, please RSVP by August 31 so that Apple Farm Service can order enough meals. You can RSVP online at AppleFarmService.com/CombineClinic or by calling the Covington store at 937-526-4851 and asking for Amy.
