“This song was written from a place that was almost desperate for answers and just wanting to throw in the towel on love,” Ashley said. “Personally, I’ve had my share of times when I’ve wanted to walk into a little bar where people knew me – or didn’t know me, as long as I wasn’t a center of attention to sit alone and drink.”Tequila” is a traditional country song where a girl has a conversation with, well, tequila. It starts with overthinking, and as the night wears on, the booze does what he does.
A video clip is also in preparation.
